Manchester City Player Performance Hack
Manchester City are hosting a Performance Hack on the 29-31 July at their Academy. Man City were behind an a big data initiative before with the release of a seasons worth of Opta data. This time they are taking a different approach and are looking to run the event on-site. Here is what their website says about the event;

In another world first, Manchester City (MCFC) is opening up incredibly detailed match data. We’re inviting you to create new insight, innovation, visualisations and products.
For this unique Hackathon, data partners OptaPro and ChyronHego will release previously unavailable data and APIs. These feature in-match events, player performance and detailed biometric tracking.
We’ve tonnes of exclusive surprises in store. Including access to behind the scenes performance analysis systems, training facilities and biometric technologies. You really don’t want to miss this.
