West Ham United Women have a number of student internships available for the upcoming season (2024/25). These opportunities are available to all work placement and Masters students. Those invited to interview may be asked to complete a task to demonstrate their analysis skills and football understanding. The ideal candidate must:

Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Be able to commit to the entire 2024-25 season.
Be able to travel to multiple venues of work.

The key responsibilities include:

Filming games and training sessions.

Pre-match opposition analysis support.

Post-match analysis, providing video and statistical feedback on games for players and coaching staff, using specialist software (Hudl Sportscode, Studio and MS Excel).

Working alongside the Head of Performance, to support coach development using a variety of analytical tools and softwares.

Collect, store and analyse video and stats throughout the season on both an individual and team level.

Provide analytical insight from statistical trend data on a team/individual basis on a mid/long term basis.

Support individual player development with internal and external best practice.
