FUTURE PROOFING YOURSELF IN THE WORLD OF AI
AI is moving at an incredible pace, and every day it seems like new programs, processes & tools are being built, mostly with automation in mind. Many believe AI won’t replace jobs, but will benefit those who know how to use it best to deliver better, faster results. Lee Mooney from MUD Analytics discusses the future of AI in football and what you can do to get ahead of the curve.
OPPORTUNITIES IN EMERGING MARKETS
Let’s face it, getting an analyst job in the Premier League first-team or a top-tier national team straight out of university is almost impossible. It’s frequently discussed how there are so many more applicants than available jobs in the analysis space. One area many have had success establishing themselves is for smaller teams in emerging markets. Rob Suddaby demonstrates how FIFA works in these markets and the opportunities here for analysts.
MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE APFA
Join APFA CEO Oliver Gage for a huge announcement. Possibly our biggest ever. If you want to establish your reputation in analysis, showcase your work and potentially get paid for doing so, you won’t want to miss this.
YOUR ANALYSIS IS GREAT, BUT HOW ARE YOU PRESENTING IT?
As the blogging and online portfolio space grows, data-viz specialist Andy Kirk walks us through some best practice so you can ensure you don’t fall into some common traps. Often the difference in being noticed isn’t just the content you deliver, but also how it’s presented.
TURNING YOUR PASSION INTO A DREAM JOB
Two excellent success stories from analysts who went from blogger to employee at European clubs. See how Tom Worville & Ben Griffis turned their passion into employment by writing about football & learn how to transition yourself from interesting to ‘worth paying for’.
