Head of Academy Analysis
Main Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:
Head of Academy Analysis As a leader of the Analysis Team, the post holder will be responsible for:
β Lead the academy analysis department, ensuring team, unit and individual analysis is provided across the U9-U21 programme.
β Oversee a team of analysts to ensure consistency in filming and coding of training and games to ensure quality of footage to use.
β Understand the FTFC playing style, taking time to work closely with coaches in implementing individual development and creating analysis sessions for improvement of understanding.
β Work closely with the Head of Coaching to provide best practice sessions for all age groups, in line with the coaching programme and playing style.
β Work closely with the Head of Coaching to create player case studies, investigating the development of players through regular analysis, using subjective and objective data to form professional opinion and discussion.
β Work closely with the Head of Coaching to develop the coaches β providing information to support the consistency and quality.
β Work closely with the PDP staff to support the development of loan players, through use of subjective and objective analysis.
β Manage the HUDL account, ensuring all relevant staff, players and parents are adequately trained to use.
β Manage the use of VEOβs and video cameras to ensure safety and quality.
β To ensure health & safety and safeguarding certification is met within the Analysis team.
Qualifications & Experience Expected: The post holder is expected to;
β Have in date FA Safeguarding Certification
β Have experience managing and leading other staff
β Experience of strategic thinking and problem solving
β Experience of using HUDL and all relevant software.
β Experience of the game in either a playing, coaching or analysis setting.

β Carry out other similar reasonable duties according to the business needs.
β Undertake any training relevant to the requirements of the role.
β Comply with health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
β Adhere to data protection procedures, ensuring that sensitive business data remains confidential.
β Adhere to all safeguarding policies set by the Club.

The Club will appropriately induct the post holder in to the Club, as well as the Clubβs safeguarding policies and protocols, and will clearly outline the roles and responsibilities required as part of their role.
This includes ensuring the post holder is appropriately qualified in safeguarding and receives regular CPD, to maintain consistency with the Club and their staff.
In line with the Club safeguarding policies and protocols, the post holder agrees to report any concerns into the Academy designated safeguarding officers in writing;
