First Team Performance Analyst
Summary
Dundee Football Club are offering an exciting opportunity within the football department.
This role will play a key part in maximising the ability of Dundee FC’s players and coaches to perform at the highest level, with the ultimate goal of winning football matches across all league and major competitions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Contribute to a comprehensive analytical service for all first team matches.
- Deliver pre- and post-training analysis/support, as well as pre-, live-, and post-match analysis/support. This will include subjective analysis, data analysis, file management, filming/coding, and clipping/editing.
- Attend all Dundee FC fixtures, home and away, to provide full performance analysis provision.
- Deliver high-quality work in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines, demonstrating flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
- Ensure all historical and previous resources are databased, stored effectively, and accessible as required.

Person Specification
Essential Experience
- Strong football knowledge, with the ability to contextualise this knowledge and produce player-facing material.
- Experience working in a professional sports environment as a Performance Analyst.
- Proficiency in analysis systems (e.g. Hudl Sportscode, Studio, Insight, or similar software).
- Ability to set up and ensure a live touchline video solution for tactical, technical, and medical review during first-team games.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and thrive under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working in a First Team environment within elite-level football.
- Coaching experience with elite players.
