The Beta Is Live: A New Era for APFA Membership
Back in January, we shared our vision for 2026: a developed APFA built to give analysts the tools, visibility, and recognition they’ve always deserved. Today, we’re thrilled to say that vision is no longer a preview. The Beta is live, and you can start using it right now.
This is a big moment for the association. For the first time, everything we’ve been building public profiles, a home for your analysis, new ways to earn, and access to professional data is in one connected ecosystem, ready for our community to explore.
And because many of these tools are free, every member can take advantage from day one.
What’s Live Today
We’ve rebuilt the membership from the ground up. Here’s what’s now available to you:
Public Profile Pages: Every member, free and Professional alike, can now create a public-facing profile hosted directly through the APFA. Your profile is your central hub as an analyst — your bio, experience, ambitions, and contact details in one credible, discoverable space. Designed with clubs and analysis departments in mind, it makes it easier for organisations to find talent and connect with analysts directly, wherever you are on your journey.
The Analyst Hub: You can now publish your football analysis directly on the APFA website. Rather than your work living in isolation on external platforms like Substack and Medium, The Analyst Hub keeps your writing and your profile connected in one professional space, building a visible portfolio that lets others discover you through the quality of your analysis.
The Ambassador Program: We want members to benefit from the value they help create. Ambassadors can generate unique affiliate links through the APFA website and earn 10% commission on courses and events booked through them — up to £30 per course. It’s a simple, meaningful way to start being rewarded for your contribution to the community immediately.
Alongside these, you’ll find the Career Centre and our community WhatsApp group — all part of the free membership.
Go Further With Our Professional Membership
For members who want the full professional toolkit, our new Professional and Professional+ memberships unlock a deeper level of access, including access to a data platform with team and player data across the top men’s and women’s leagues from around the world. You’ll get to use detailed visuals like xG maps, passing networks, shot charts, and possession graphs to elevate your blog posts, coursework, and professional analysis.
You’ll also unlock an enhanced profile with greater visibility, APFA certification tags, Member Spotlight opportunities, a growing library of wide-angle match footage, CV templates, and more.
And because we’re in Beta, Professional membership is at the lowest rate it will ever be. This introductory price is our way of rewarding the members who back us early, locked in while we dot the i’s and cross the t’s to make the experience the best it can possibly be. If you want to know the right moment to go Pro, this is it: you’ll be set up for everything still to come, at a price that won’t be around forever.

A Beta means exactly that: everything above is ready to use, but we’re still refining and polishing as we go. Some features are still being finalised, and there will be rough edges as we scale.
This is where you come in. If something doesn’t work as expected, looks off, or could simply be better, we want to hear about it. Every piece of feedback helps us shape a stronger, more useful platform for the entire analysis community. Report any issues you run into, and you’ll be directly helping to build the association we all want to see. For the first time, analysts can start, shape, and showcase their journey within one connected APFA ecosystem, from learning and publishing to earning and building a visible professional profile. This is a step towards greater visibility, stronger recognition, and a future where analysts are empowered not just to learn, but to be seen, valued, and rewarded for the work they do.
