Head of Analysis - Women's
Chelsea FC Women are seeking an outstanding Head of Analysis to lead and evolve their world-class analysis function across the First Team and wider women's football pathway. Reporting to the Head Coach and Technical Director, you will translate the club's Game Model into actionable insights that drive performance, recruitment and player development, while leading the performance, opposition and data analysis team. Contract: Permanent, Full-Time. Location: Cobham Training Ground. Closing date: 9th August 2026. Key responsibilities: lead and develop the Women's Analysis department, setting strategy, standards and best practice; manage and mentor a team of analysts across performance, opposition and data functions; partner with the Head Coach, Technical Director and Recruitment team to deliver high-impact insights; oversee match, training and individual player analysis aligned to the Game Model; lead opposition analysis and contribute to game planning and match-day strategy; drive innovation through data, technology and emerging methodologies; manage departmental budgets, software platforms and analytical infrastructure. What we're looking for: 5+ years' experience in performance, opposition or data analysis within elite football; proven leadership managing teams and departmental objectives; strong tactical and technical analysis within the women's game; expertise across Hudl Sportscode, Wyscout, SkillCorner, StatsBomb, Power BI and Catapult; ability to translate complex data, video and performance insights into clear recommendations; UEFA B Licence (or higher) and a relevant degree or postgraduate qualification. Desirable: experience within the WSL or comparable elite women's environment; exposure to recruitment and academy analysis; UEFA A Licence; additional language skills.
